Official Rules for Cincy Forums

1. New member postings will goto the queue for moderation. This will make it easier for our moderators to control spam and off-topic postings.

2. Newly registered accounts with strange user names such as xcvbmp or meeryilxz or cilsyr4ad will be deleted. To give credibility to your published message it would be nice to employ a memorable user name such as ipman or icegirl, etc...

3. In order to post an advertisement to Cincy Forums in our free advertising forums section, you should have a minimum of 10 quality posts. 1 of those 10 postings should be an introduction thread in our Welcome Center forum. See Create A Personal Homepage Using BB Codes and Build Your Cincy Forums Profile for more info.

4. You are welcome to register at Cincy Forums even if you're not posting regularly. But please make sure your profile page is complete since it is publicly viewable via the search engines.

5. Effective as of November 21, 2011 - In an effort to increase the credibility of Cincy Forums it will be mandatory for all contributing members to create a 5 sentence post consisting of atleast 30 words whenever a new topic is created. One or two sentence post for a new topic will no longer be acceptable. However, one or two sentence replies to a topic is acceptable.

6. Effective as of November 21, 2011 it is now mandatory for all members to login to their account and post atleast 1 quality message every 3 months. This will help Cincy Forums become more active and prevent the site from being associated with spammers. If you have not logged in and contributed to the forums by February 21, 2012 then your account with Cincy Forums will be deleted! No exceptions. Member profiles that enjoy a Google PageRank may not want their account deleted. So it would be wise to login and contribute productively to the forums atleast once every 3 months.

Cincy Forumers with 500 or more posts:
1. admin - 1,000 +
2. cf_editor - 600 +
3. penwars - 600 +
